OK, see! See! I've been saying this until I'm blue in the face. I feel like the Boy Who Cried Wolf/ Chicken Little, and whatever else naysayer...Yes, Obama was the only choice. Yes his regime will be better than anything the Cheney/Bushites can put together with all their money and guile. Yes, McCain is a tool- the only maverick in him is the TV show from the 60's. Yes Palin is an idiot, but so's the average uninformed voter...

And YES, Obama is a Chicago politician! With one hand he pats the baby, while the other steals the lollipop! He will do and say whatever he can to gain consensus. He blew it with his lack of leadership in the face of a crumbling Republican party. If he couldn't seize the day in his first year, the next 3 will be hell to pay. And pay and pay. He will finally blur the last difference between the major parties..
